In accordance with the obligations inherent to the General Data Protection Regulation (RGPD), H. F. Martins - Hotelaria LDA. undertakes, in this Privacy Policy, to inform you about the purposes and how your personal data is handled (i.e. collection, storage, processing, transmission and deletion), ensuring that your data is collected and stored with reference to best practices in the field of security and protection of personal data. 

 

In its commitment to ensure the security of the personal data of its customers and employees, H. F. Martins - Hotelaria LDA. has implemented technical and organisational security measures deemed necessary for processing activities. 

The data collected is not transferred to third parties without your prior consent. Personal data may also be shared with other entities in accordance with: a) applicable legislation, b) compliance with legal obligations, c) or in response to requests from public and government authorities. 

 

H. F. Martins - Hotelaria LDA. is committed to using your personal data only for the purposes for which it was provided, and always in a safe and responsible manner. 

 

In this Privacy Policy, the term "Personal Data" means the collection of information relating to you that allows us to identify you, directly or indirectly. Your Personal Data may include, for example, your name, your tax identification number, your contact details, your transactions and your interactions with us. 

 

H. F. Martins - Hotelaria LDA. may collect the following categories of personal data: 

 

  1. User identification data - name, age, e-mail, address, tax identification number, date of birth, contact, among others. 
  2. Information about the children: name, date of birth, age, among others. 

Customers must ensure that children and young people under the age of 18 do not send personal data without their permission. 

  1. Credit card details - cardholder's name, card number, its validity and its security code. 
  2. Services provided - name, address, telephone, e-mail, date of birth, service identification. 
  3. Interests and preferences: such as preferred room location, smoking/non-smoking room, preferred room type and bed requested, desired newspaper, among others. 
  4. Possible comments during or after your stay at Hotel Quinta do Marco

 

We do not ask for sensitive information such as: religious or philosophical beliefs, political opinions, health information, race or ethnicity, sexual orientation or trade union membership. 

We use your personal data for the following purposes: 

  1. Customer Management - to enable us to provide you with the service for which you have contracted us and to improve the services provided in our hotel, in order to understand our customers' needs and exceed their expectations 
  2. Invoice Management - for issuing invoices for the acquisition of goods and services. 
  3. Warranties and after-sales support - to enable you to access after-sales and warranty services. 
  4. Marketing and Communication - for market research, participation in advertising programmes (to receive offers/promotions; collaboration in customer surveys and/or comments, competitions).

 

Under the terms of the legislation in force, you are guaranteed access, rectification, alteration, opposition to treatment, portability and elimination of your personal data, by contacting the company's Human Resources. 

H. F. Martins - Hotelaria LDA. may request a copy of a valid identification document to protect the customer's privacy and confirm the customer's identity before making any changes. 

 

Clients may request the portability of their personal data contained in the automated systems of the group or files thereof, provided that they supply a medium to which they can be transferred from that medium. 

 

The Clients consent that photocopies of their citizen card, identity card, taxpayer card and social security card, passport, residence permit, community citizen registration certificate be extracted in order to better fulfil their declarative and contractual obligations. 

 

The storage period of personal data complies with the Law. Personal data, for the purposes of managing the customer file, is kept for the duration of the stay and also for as long as the company is legally obliged to keep such data, plus a period of one month to delete it.

The customer is also entitled to lodge a complaint to the CNPD or other competent control authority under the terms of the law, if he/she believes that the treatment of his/her data by H. F. Martins - Hotelaria LDA. violates the legal regime in force at each moment. The removal of consent does not invalidate the treatment carried out until that date based on the consent previously provided.
